YOU Redefine Holiness (Leviticus 19:9–18)

The following sermon, preached on February 19th, 2017, examines how Christians redefine holiness. The rest of the world sees Christians acting in a certain way. Is this way a way of holiness? Or, is it a way that looks like the rest of the world? Gandhi once remarked to the effect of, “I like your Christ, but not your Christians.” It is clear that God commands us to act one way, but in reality, we redefine it for terrible consequences.

The following sermon, preached on February 5th, 2017, examines how every action we do matters to God. Every action is eternally significant! Isaiah 58:2 says “For day after day they seek me out; they seem eager to know my ways, as if they were a nation that does what is right and has not forsaken the commands of its God. They ask me for just decisions and seem eager for God to come near them.” Are we a nation that acts as if every action matters?
