The sole purpose this website exists is so that you may truly find peace, hope, and love in this world. The truth is that the light of the Word of God shines through the darkness of this world, and the darkness cannot comprehend or overcome it (John 1:5). The light can fill you up, and transform you to the glory of God. Your life can be radically, positively, different, through and by God’s working. The various posts on this website are all aimed at this purpose.

Have you ever thought that this world is terrible? That this world is an awful place to be? Maybe you are struggling in your life because of things you have done, or choices you have made. It could even be that you are struggling—though not because of things you have done—but because of things done to you. The simple truth is that you are not alone. God’s Word teaches us that “death came to all people, because all sinned” (Romans 5:12, NIV, emphasis added). Sin is like a disease that is eating away at the entire universe. It affects everyone and everything. Sin is the reason that we all experience trouble in this life.

God’s Word also teaches us something else, however. It says, “at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:6–8, NIV). The good news of the Scripture is that God sent Jesus to die for our sins, and fix the problem—and not only our personal problem(s), but for the sin of the entire world. Through Jesus’ death and resurrection, God overcame sin and the power of death because of this simple fact: He was raised!

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the proof that there is hope in this world. When God raised Jesus from the dead (Romans 10:9), God effectively said, “Everything Jesus said was right! Death is not the end! Sin does not have the final answer! You, too, can overcome, because Jesus has overcome!” The Bible teaches us that when we confess and believe that this Jesus is Lord—the very Son of God—God will give us His Spirit, so that we too can be saved like Christ. In fact, we can even live like Him, at this very moment. Scripture says: “If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you” (Romans 8:11, NIV). Right now, at this very second, God can give you His Holy Spirit, so that you really can live a life empowered by the love and salvation of God.

If you need this complete salvation from all of your sin—and we all do, because sin is everywhere—please pray this prayer: “Lord Jesus, I believe in my heart that you are my Lord, and I ask that you be the Lord of my life. I believe that you died for me, fixing the sin problem, and that you were raised from the dead, a sacrifice for my sin, even my sin, and I want myself to be filled with your Holy Spirit. Come into my life and radically transform me. Change me and make me into a godly person. I repent of the way I used to live, and now I want to live a life for you. Thank you Jesus. It is in your name I pray, Jesus, Amen.”

If you have sincerely and genuinely prayed this prayer, you have been led by the Spirit of God to eternal life. God’s Spirit has entered your heart, and has freed you from the power of sin to live a life dedicated to God—and the things of God. We would love to hear from you if this has happened, and we would love to answer any questions you have. Please contact us via the contact page of this website, or by clicking this link:
